A Pokemon Sun/Moon Special Demo Is Out Now

  A special demo of Pokemon Sun/Moon was released on the Nintendo 3DS eshop today. I decided to download the demo and see what all the fuss was about. Warning: I’m not a Pokemon fan (though I did like Pokken Tournament a lot), so I’m not as excited about this game as other people may be… The first thing I noticed while playing the demo was the graphics. I’ve never been a fan of Pokemon’s graphics. It always seemed too anime for my tastes (I’m not an anime fan). And while Pokemon Sun/Moon is definitely still influenced by anime, I think that this game’s graphics are the best I’ve seen from the franchise. I like the cel-shaded graphics of this game, especially in battle. The graphics are the best part of the demo for me. As for the gameplay, if you liked previous Pokemon games, you’ll like this one too. I thought the battle system and wandering around wasn’t bad, but as I mentioned, I’m not a Pokemon fan, so the gameplay here seemed like more of the same. I did think the demo was a...

Pokémon Sun and Moon Demo Impressions

If you are a long time fan of the video game franchise, you will know that the game has been taking small steps over the last number of years. Improved graphics, new animations, new MEGA Evolutions and more have made each of the last few Pokémon games worth playing for the changes alone. Using the tried and true basic mechanics and game play, Game Freak has created a franchise that has stood the test of time. Sun and Moon are innovating again, and no, I’m not talking just about the Z-Ring. There is so much more you can do in this new project, and for those on the fence, it will feel drastically different than even X and Y, or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. My first opinion is to stop reading my thoughts and just go grab the demo. Getting Excited for Farming Simulator 2017

  We do know a few things that should get us very excited, and things that have created a large amount of hype in the Farming Simulator community. Depending on who you ask, what is the best new addition and what is the worst seems to vary drastically. I will run down my own favorite new things coming to Farming Simulator 17. Trains, Trains, Trains! Who doesn’t like getting products to market in different ways. I sure do, and so I’m glad to see that instead of just driving Transport Trucks around, we will actually get to do something with trains. The biggest bonus for trains will be moving items from one side of the map to the other. I cannot think of a better use of these then for hauling lumber, a tedious task at the best of times. Tending Animals Everyone wanted animals in Farming Simulator 17, and the developers have promised to deliver that for us. This adds something new to the title, yes, but also allows players to approach this game in a drastically different way. What ...

  Nintendo Switch is a hybrid. A lot of people kept saying that the NX would be a system that you could take with you, like a portable, and also play at home on the TV. Those people were right. We also had a hint of a patient for a detachable controller too. And of course, it looks like the games will be on carts too. In the end, just about everything about the Nintendo Switch was leaked out on the internet. Some people believed the rumors, some people, like me, didn’t. You would think it might be disappointing to know almost everything ahead of time. Guess what? It wasn’t disappointing at all! In fact, I was blown away by this new console.
